According to the New York Department of Health, you must send your child’s medical forms to us at least a week before the beginning of camp. They must be signed by a medical professional and submitted to Camp Nurse, (campnurse@dwight.edu). Failure to comply may result in a delayed start or refusal of entry. Dwight Summer Camp reserves the right to inform staff about allergies, medical conditions, and/or life-threatening illnesses.
Parents must bring their child’s life-saving medications, including EpiPens, inhalers, insulin, glucagon, and emergency seizure medication, on their first day of camp. These medications must be readily accessible if needed during camp. Campers who do not have their emergency medications or whose medications have expired may be restricted from participating in camp activities.
If your child will be absent due to illness, please call the Camp Office (212-724-6360 ext. 267) and email both campnurse@dwight.edu and director@dwightsummercamp.org. Â
