Dwight Summer Camp offers a number of Specialist Camps each year that allow our campers to have a week-long specialty experience. Campers can discover — or spend more time — pursuing their individual passion, or “spark of genius,” in a variety of sports, arts, and sciences.
Dodgeball, basketball, armor design, water balloon toss, and so much more! These are just some of the exciting activities that we’re thrilled to offer in our Extreme Sports Spark Camp. Led by Dwight’s own famous dodgeball duo and Lower School faculty members, Steven Presti and Sorush Panahi, this program gives campers an opportunity to choose the activities that most appeal to them.
Teamwork, sportsmanship, and safety will be emphasized throughout. Your child is guaranteed to come home having had lots of fun and a great workout!

Your child can build their tennis game this summer! Campers will learn the FUNdamentals of tennis and progress through tennis activities, games, and team competitions. With Stefania Sidoli, Dwight School’s Head of Physical & Health Education and UK Lawn Tennis Association’s Level 2 Tennis Coach, leading the way, campers will learn from an expert player and coach. Together, they will focus on building teamwork and friendships, while developing techniques to rally and become knowledgeable about the game. Your child is guaranteed to have a great week and gain new skills on the court!

During Theater & Performing Arts Camp, we will explore play-building, improvisation and characterization through theater sports, and scripted drama through a range of confidence-building and collaborative activities. Campers will experiment with, and learn about, dramatic styles such as melodrama and pantomime, while working toward a final performance to showcase their skills for parents at the end of the week. This is a great opportunity for campers to go beyond their comfort zone, embrace their spark of genius, let their imaginations soar, and most importantly have fun! No previous acting experience is required.
